Villa Ranieri Hotel is placed in an extremely strategic location:
it is easily reached by airport, station or motorway and is
near all the major artistic and cultural attractions in Naples.
The Hotel is a few minutes from two important museums: the National
Archeological Museum, which holds the entire collection of finds
from the Borbone dynasty and the Capodimonte Museum, with works
of art from Michelangelo, Tiziano, El Greco, Raffaello, Botticelli.Via
Toledo is very characteristic, the heart of the Spanish Quarters
and is easily reached from the Hotel. Umberto I Gallery is found
at the end of this street. A short distance away, one can admire
the San Carlo Theatre, one of the oldest in Europe and the splendid
Royal Palace surrounded by beautiful gardens.Other places not
to be missed are Maschio Angioino, Castel Sant'Elmo and Castel
dell'Ovo, the Dome and Via San Gregorio Armeno, which are a
short distance from the Hotel. |

Capodimonte
Museum: The current centre of the Museum and the National
Galleries of Capodimonte rose in 1743 wanted by Charles of Borbone,
the task to build the Royal Palace was given to Giovanni Antonio
Medrano and Antonio Canevari, while to Ferdinando Sanfelice
was given the task to realize the great Park, with the botanical
part submitted to Denhardt, the person in charge of the Botanical
garden. The splendid site, that dominates the oriental part
of the city from the hill of Capodimonte, constitutes one of
the most important Baroque and Rococo references in Naples.
It is made up with the Villa of the Princes, the building of
the Manufacture of the Porcelains, the grandiose Palace surrounded
by the Park, the Chapel of St. Gennaro, the Faggianeria, the
Casina of the Queen and the hermitage of the Cappuccinis.

| From
Naples Capodichino airport, you have two possibilities of reaching
Villa Ranieri Hotel:
- by private taxi, taking 15 minutes to arrive to your destination
- using the public service "Alibus" which departs
from the airport every 30 minutes, quickly bringing you to the
Central Station.
From
here you can take a taxi or metro line 1 in Piazza Garibaldi
(in front of the station) and get off at the Piazza Cavour stop.
Continue by foot to Piazza Museo and there get on the R4 bus
at the Via Santa Teresa degli Scalzi stop. After a few minutes,
you will arrive to Corso Amedeo di Savoia and you can find Villa
Ranieri Hotel on the corner with Via Cagnazzi. |
You
can take a taxi or public transport from the central station
to Villa Ranieri Hotel. Take the metro line 1 from Piazza Garibaldi
(in front of the station) and get off at the Piazza Cavour stop.
Continue by foot to Piazza Museo and there get on the R4 bus
at the Via Santa Teresa degli Scalzi stop. After a few minutes,
you will arrive to Corso Amedeo di Savoia and you can find Villa
Ranieri Hotel on the corner with Via Cagnazzi. |
From the motorway, take the "Tangenziale" (by pass)
and exit at "Capodimonte". From here, follow the obligatory
direction to the right and you will arrive to Corso Amedeo di
Savoia. Continue for 500 metres: Villa Ranieri is situated on
the opposite side to the direction of the traffic flow on the
corner with Via Cagnazzi
